I’m always looking for new ways to motivate my recruiting team and to give them perks that affirms my appreciation and to reward good work/results. One thing that I’ve always instituted is “shorts day’s” (for internal employees only, of course). In Texas where we have some of the most inhospitable environments in the US, it’s something that the employee will brag about to his/her friends and eventually turn it into a referral which, of course, is the best way to get quality passive candidates.
Finally – we have had an influx of .NET, J2EE and networking positions here in the DFW metroplex, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Tulsa, OK. If you know anyone that might have an interest in one of these jobs or that is looking for work, period.
